Hi There,

I have a denon dv1920 hooked up to my tv via hdmi. I have a marantz sr400 av amp connected to the dvd player via coax and have 5.1 kef crestas connected to said amp.

Ermmm, I cannot get any sound into speakers!! Amp states "no data". Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks

Ok Reduce the problem.

1. Run stereo RCA from DVD -> AMP and make sure that works.

2. Check if the DVD has optional coax spdif connection. It might only be using the HDMI connection if connected.
