Hi There,

I have a denon dv1920 hooked up to my tv via hdmi. I have a marantz sr400 av amp connected to the dvd player via coax and have 5.1 kef crestas connected to said amp.

Ermmm, I cannot get any sound into speakers!! Amp states "no data". Does anyone have any ideas.

Double check all your connections. make sure your outs are out and your in's in in.

Ok Reduce the problem.

1. Run stereo RCA from DVD -> AMP and make sure that works.

2. Check if the DVD has optional coax spdif connection. It might only be using the HDMI connection if connected.
