Hi All,
Hoping someone maybe able to point me in the right direction.

Yesterday, after being in the house we are I, I finally got around to connecting the rear surround speakers (Mission M30's) to the AV receiver (Onkyo TX-NR609).

I then proceeded to run the Full EQ calibration of the setup, and it gave an error on the Surround right (being one of the M30's). So, I switched the speakers around (right became left etc) and ran the test again, and it gave an error on Surround left, thus proving a speaker issue, not a cable issue.

It's only on the pulsing calibration test that the speaker is noticeably muted. If you set the receiver to All Channels, it doesn't seem to bad.

As I am Wellington based, can anyone recommend where I can take the speaker (or both of them) to be checked out?

I spoke with the guys at The Real Music Company on Marion street at lunch time.

They think it think it might be an issue with the driver on the speaker, so they said bring it in, and they'll be able to tell for sure.

So, on that, has anyone had to do speaker driver repairs? Any idea on what costs maybe involved?
