Hi all

I have a 46" LG WebOS TV in our family room and I cannot for the life of me figure out one feature.

I have a HDD connected to the TV and have set it to record the news at 6pm on weekdays. We are generally in a position to start watching it at about 6:40pm. On my old non-WebOS LG TV I would be able to start it playing back the news from the beginning while it still recorded the remainder of it. With this new TV I only seem to be able to manually *rewind* it. So I turn to the channel the news is on, and then have to sit watching while 40 minutes of it plays in reverse over several minutes. It feels like VHS days!

Does anybody know how to simply start the recording from the beginning while it continues to record?

Cheers!

Steve

I think if you select the input for your hard drive you should see a LG folder that has your tv recordings inside , from there you should be able to start watching from the beginning even if it is still recording .

Sorry , just checked the recording does not show up in the folder until it is completed , otherwise if you have the magic remote you can point it at the start of the progress bar .
