Mrs MDF wants a new bluray player. I'm not sure I see the point; physical media went out with hunting woolly mammoths as far as I'm concerned. But one must do as one is told.

The killer feature as far as Mrs MDF is concerned is wireless audio. We've got headset jacks on both the HTPC and Roku remotes - works like magic. I haven't managed to find a blu ray player with anything similar in the remote, but most of the major brands seem to advertise companion smartphone apps. Has anyone tried this/have recommendations for an app the supports audio streaming (that works well)? Her phone is an iPhone, so anything android-only is out.

I'm aiming at the entry end of the market - $150-$200 ish if possible. Certainly we don't need any of the "smart" features which I'm comfortable we've got covered off with one of the many other boxes that sit under the TV.
