Pretty much what the title says

I have a very specific requirement I currently have an old AMD PC with a Geforce 210 connected to a Bose 5.1 sound system via HDMI, I need to up scale 2 channel audio in videos and music to 5.1 channels, I know that Realtek has this option on my personal PC called DTS Connect but I need the same function on this HTPC I have running Windows 7 and Kodi, any one found a way to do this over HDMI? Do I need to get a newer graphics card? Connect it differently to the sound system?
