Can anybody help. My Phillips 37PFT3403 has developed a problem, It has lost the colour yellow in the picture, I have adjusted the settings and found the best I can get is a picture looking very grey on the faces and the colour blue is a nice green.
The reason I started looking in to the TV was to find another fault , when we walked across the lounge the vibrations caused the TV picture to stutter and pixalate and the audio followed by switching off and coming back seconds after the picture had stabilised, this fault has become less persistent.
The adjustment have been :
Sharpness to max
Contrast     "    "
Tint              down
Colour        down to remove the bright red which at factory settings is far to high

Does it occur on another input?

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

I'm not electrically savvy, I'm not sure what you mean, my signal comes in through a Dish TV box then to the TV.
It appears with these faulty settings the picture is more stable and does not stutter or pixalt like before but I haven't jumped on the floor to check We just have to look at basic grey picture with magenta colouring, colour that are normally blue are now green.

Have you totally power cycled both the TV and the dish box?

I have turned off and unplugged each of the appliances but no change were apparent. I did click the info button on  the Dish TV remote which shows the signal strength 72% and  signal quality 90%.

How are they connected to each other? Lack of one colour is often when you have component and one of the plugs isnt connected. HDMI will not suffer from that.

Which model dish tv box is it?

Hi It is a Dish T1050 PVR THE CONNECTORS ARE rca which were unplugged after the problem checked and refitted, The drastic colour change occurred after I changed the resolution 760 to 1080 then to 1080i and then back,  I did a factory reset and the colour remained, I found that excessive movement of the sharpness, contrast and reducing the tint gave a watchable picture but far from what it was, extremely acceptable quality and colours. I also tried altering and re setting compressed and uncompressed ,,,,completely lost now.

If its just the yellow/red/white RCA cables then those dont carry HD so the change should have no effect.

If you bring up the TV's own menus, do those have yellow in them ok?

I will check tomorrow night and list the settings that are shown  and I will take note of the colours so I can answer your questions better.

How about posting  some photos of the screen with live TV and the Menu and the connections on the back of the TV?

The geekzone uploader can be a pain because a phone takes photos to big for it usually.

Try https://imgur.com/ but be aware that the uploads are public if you have other things in the picure you dont want to be seen.

It's pretty simple. After hitting the "quote"  hit the "Upload an image" then follow the instructions.
I'm sure others would like to see your connections in order to help.
I managed OK at my first attempt having no idea how to do it.
