My parents had a Samsung LA46M81B TV hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V861 Receiver both about (6 years old). This has worked great for them for years. They upgraded the TV to a Panasonic TH-P65VT50Z and now no picture is passed to the TV.
The Receiver had MySky and a Bluray player connected to its to HDMI inputs and HDMI output hooked to the HDMI in on the TV. To try and track down the problem I have hooked both MySky and the Bluray player directly to the Panasonic TV and it works (so no issues with those components). I then rehooked up the receiver to the original Samsung TV and it worked (I then hooked to 2 other Samsung tvs and they worked). I then connected to another Panasonic in the house and had the same no picture issue. So in short the receiver works fine passing HDMI out to a Samsung TV but not to Panasonic TV. So my question is is there some setting on the Yamaha I should be setting to fix the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Steve

Probably HDCP issues with Panasonic, but also some combinations need specific boot sequence to pass data back and forth.

Check the receiver is on pass through mode.

Turn everything off, then try alternate boot up sequence.
With just the BD player you have 3 devices, so multi possibilities to test, like this;

Receiver On
BD/DVD On
TV On

Then try

TV On
BD/DVD On
Receiver On

then possibly

TV On
Receiver On
BD/DVD On

or

BD/DVD On
Receiver On
TV On

As you can see there can be multiple combinations(more than just what I listed as a guide), especially when you add another device into the receiver, however if a sequence works you will find the sequence for all the devices.

Oh finally don't forget some devices can have trouble with cables that work for other devices, the length being too short(less than 1.5m) can be an issue with some devices as much as too long.

Try a factory reset on the TV (it's called 'shipping condition' and then on the amplifier (it should have options for both video reset and 'all' reset under the Advanced Menu).
I'd also swap out a few different HDMI cables as some are known to cause issues (Redmere chips with new generation Panasonic TV's and some receivers).
