Tonight, everytime we change channel on our 29 inch Panasonic CRT the message TVNZ STAGING TDG7 comes up like a teletext overlay.

Any ideas anyone?

I am getting the same thing when I change to TV1, TV2 and (interestingly) TV3 - but not for C4 or prime. Getting this on the terrestrial signal only, not when I change channels on the sky box.

It's an issue affecting the Teletext service. C4 and Prime don't carry Teletext signals and Sky and TCL strip it for some channels.

Well, I googled it and a tdg7 seems to be a teletext inserter http://www.sysmedia.com/downloads/pdf/analogue_teletext/TDG7_tech_data.pdf

So assumibly they havent renamed it or something.

I still think they should use it for advertising or something.
