I have an older Marantz SR5002 which has been replaced with a newer AVR so is surplus to requirements. It doesn't owe me anything and I don't think it's worth a heck of a lot so i'm not in a rush to dump it on TM.

I don't have a second living space (aside from outdoors) but don't plan on buying external speakers, or another screen any time soon.

Anyone got any ideas what I should/could do with it? It might just end up being a 2ch amp in the workshop at this rate.

Mine found its way into the garage as a 2ch stereo setup, far better than a cheap radio

You could give it away.

Dafman gave away a few amps and speakers a few months back

Same, of course.

Wish I had some cool ideas about what to do with it, but I guess it would just go downstairs/workshop.

If all you would do with it is that then hows about a swap your amp for my Pioneer VSX-D457 it's 100W per channel (5.1Ch) or 110W per cannel (2Ch) I could put your amp to good use
