I've noticed in the past week or so that in the corners of my Samsung LA32R81BX there seems to be some sort of white smudging or smearing marks? and it only seems to be evident against a black background (see pics)





Are these dead pixels? And the LCD is only 3 months old.

They aren't dead pixels, it looks like an issue with the backlight.

Can also be the panel being pinched by the corner mounts, in any case take it back, not acceptable to have that there.
