I am hoping someone might be able to give me some guidance on how to fix this problem/where to get started.

I have the following motherboard.  http://www.asus.co.nz/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=195&l4=0&model=538&modelmenu=2

And I have installed a video card and a HVR 300 tuner card.  I also have a PVR 150 card that I want to install, but I am having some problems.

When I install the PVR 150MCE into my free PCI slot and restart the computer, the network card/on board does not work, but it works fine when the PVR 150mce in uninstalled.  I have done research and it sounds like I have a conflict with the Network card alloacted to one of the PCI's.  I don't (I think - will double check agian) any free PCI slots, so I need to find a way to reslove the conflict.  Some of the research suggests an IRQ allocation problem?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Try disabling other onboard stuff you dont need like parallal ata ports, ps2 mouse etc and see if that frees resources up

Otherwise try reordering the cards since the irqs are assigned by a slot basis, so a more compatible card may get on better sharing with the onboard nic.
