Hi Guys,

Im looking at buying a DISHTV T2100 as seen here

My question is, if i run my UHF cable into the "Cable In" and then from the "Cable Out" run this into my return socket will all the other 3 TVs which run off the return socket be able to use there built in freeview recievers to get the full freeview expierance ? Or will they only recieve the 1 channel the freeview reciever is on ?

The DVB-T signal is passed through.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Thanks for your reply - Can you just clarify this means the Built in Freeview tuners in the others TVs would work properly

In theory the tuners in the other TVs would work properly but it may have an amp in the circuit which disables the output when the device is turned off. More typical to use a splitter to feed all TVs.

Thanks for your help ! I too would rather use a splitter as you say but there is already coax run to all the other rooms using the return & a splitter so it does save a heap of hassle having to run new cables
