In the requirements page for GB-PVR it says we have to download an update Microsoft runtime. Does this apply to Windows Vista SP1 as well?

Also, will it work with the Microsoft MCE Remote?

I think it has native support for the MCE remote. The Microsoft runtime I think is for Visual Studio .net - not entirely sure that's included in Vista SP1 but I wouldn't have thought so. It's a developer runtime distributable. Certainly if you don't download it, the installation will fail :-(

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

The Microsoft runtime is .Net 2 and this should be on Vista already.
And yes it should work with the native Windows drivers for the MCE remote, XP does.

oh wait I see the runtime you are talking about... sorry don't know that one

Try the installer, if it doesnt work then you dont have it, if it does its all good
Tried this on XP when testing it, the installer wouldnt run till i'd installed the runtime.
