I have recently acquired a sky decoder NOT stolen and I know sky owns it.Just wondering weather or not I could ring sky and say I lost my sky card from my own decoder that I pay forAnd get another one sent out? Anyone know? If the know if my card is in or out of the decoder? So when IRing up the might say I can see you decoder is working fine
You'll find that they'll have the unique ID of the card you 'lost' and it will end up defunct. So you'll end up with a working card, and a blocked card.

The card will be deactivated. This is also against the Forum Usage Guidlines to discuss ("the post contains references or instructions that allows sharing mechanisms that circumvent revenue streams of service providers"). Do it legally - if you want another card, it only costs $25 a month extra for all the same channels on the second card. It's really not overly expensive.
