I signed up to beta on hulu last year then gave up as we couldn't access anything. I noticed in the herald this week they did an article on Hulu. Great i thought, open for all now, log on and all you can see is the nice shiny pictures off the thousands of programmes on it with "sorry no available in your region message"
The support section explains they have to negiotiate for each individual region. If every country needs to negotiate access little old new zealand on the wrong side of the wall will be way down the queue meaning bit torrent will become even more attractive.
It would be nice to some of the industry leaders talk less about thin notebooks and web 2.0 and more about making it the WORLD wide web.
It would also by nice if the Herald would mention that it was not available in NZ. It is a NZ paper after all so relevance to NZ readers would be an advantage.
Rant over with for tonight. Just had a pang for sesaon 3 Battlestar and hulu dangled it in front for a few seconds
