I see Schedules Direct now has data for NZ and AUS, albeit as "alpha" regions:  http://forums.schedulesdirect.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2824

Now that they are supporting non-US countries I am keen to sign up - but NZ cannot be selected as your country on sign up.

Does anyone have experience using this service in NZ?

I get the impression from the forum post that you would need to sign up to the service and then use your personal api token to call the NZ json string.

From a post on the NextPVR forum yesterday (24thAug16) it is now in the beta stage & Oceania has now been added to the sign-in page.....

This is an open beta; depending on the response rate will help us determine whether we should proceed.

If you would like to use Schedules Direct, then please setup an account at our website and send me an email: rkulagow@gmail.com I will send you a coupon code for a 90-day trial. Please do not pay for the service at this time; if we must cancel the offering due to a low response rate it will be simpler to not have to process refunds.

Fantastic news, please use it, or as the post says, we may lose it.

They've fixed this now, and you can select NZ.  Also, once signed up, email rkulagow@gmail.com for a free 3-month token.

Cheers,
Bill.

I see they are going to decide whether or not to make this permanent based on how many sign up.  Anyone got any ideas how we can get the word out so that the numbers stack up?  I'm really keen for this, but it would be a pity if not enough people sign up and we lose it.

I've signed up. It's really good - at last there's top quality EPG data for all my mythtv DVB channels.
