I have recently moved from Auckland to Whangarei and have had to change the HTPC setup from DVB-T using a HD Homerun to  DVB-S using a TBS 6902 Dual PCIe tuner. Everything is now working correctly including Mediaportal and EPG Collector, apart from EPG Collector only receiving data for TVNZ, Prime and Maori channels, but not receiving data for TV3, HGTV, Choice and Duke channels.

Hopefully it is something simple, but otherwise let me know what logs or settings would help diagnose the problem.

IN EPG Collector (4.3 FP7) I have 3 Frequencies listed, 12456, 12483, 12519, all MHEG5 collection type.

Why are you bothering with EPG Collector still and nowjust using the Freeview EPG directly? There has always been an 8 day EIT EPG on DVB-S, and the 8 day EIT EPG has been on DVB-T since last year.

I have been using EPG Collector for a number of years and wasn't aware that it wasn't required for DVB-S (or recently DVB-T). In he meantime EPG Collector picked up 27 channels instead of the 8 it was previously detecting so I'm not sure why it wasn't working to start with.

If I wanted to use EPG directly in MediaPortal is it just a matter of selecting the required channels in the EPG section of TV Server Configuration?

I use NextPVR rather than Media Portal so couldn't answer that.

If you carry on using EPG Collector make sure you are using the latest version and fixpack.
