I brought a konic led tv not long ago and today I watching a tape though my vcr on it. When I finished watching I noticed that the numbers that were displayed on the tape (from a home movie) were flickering on the screen were they were displayed while playing the tape. As I'm writing this the numbers are slowly disappearing but are still slightly visible.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like screen burn? I'm not too sure but I own a konic 4K and haven't noticed anything.

It's most likely image retention rather than full screen burn.

Some panel types get it really bad. The one on my HP spectre will show the browser toolbar over the top of other stuff for a good few minuites after minimising the browser. I was told that it has to be static for weeks before there is permanant changes.

My Sony gets some image retention as does an old computer monitor I have got. I suggest it is either the age or quality of panel that is being used. Turning it off then back on again will usually get rid of it.
