Hey all,

Bit of an odd question. I've got a pair of secondhand bookshelf speakers: Wharfedale Pacific Pi-10 Limited Edition Model.

As you can see in the photo, the serial is PM10000001.

I have heard about fakes in years gone by. Any chance these are Fong Kong specials? Or just a lucky serial?

If I was going to fake a serial number, I wouldn't use one so obvious.

Maybe yours are just the first off the line? Do they sound good?

Someone has to get number 1 and it might have been the fakers. But I'd be surprised if you have got fake speakers. Anyway you'd be able to tell by the sound quality, right?
