There is a menu to choose it, so I would guess not, but will see if I remember to plug something into the 3.5 later when I am in the shed where I use it.

richms: Analog out of the 3.5 is working at the same time as stereo out of the hdmi. Not easily able to test optical or when outputting 5.1 to the hdmi. This was only at 1080 as that's what the shed tv is.
