Last June I purchased the above TV from Harvey Norman. The picture and sound is now breaking up on Freeview channels 16-50. The lower and higher channels are not for the present affected, but that maybe only a matter of time. I can affect a temporary fix by f doing an automatic channel tune, this however only lasts three or four days. I have contacted Panasonic technical support and waiting for their reply. As the set is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and the CGA I am keen to find out the cause and solution. Can any of you knowledgeable Geeks out there offer some possible causes for the problem. Once I hear back from Panasonic I shall lodge a claim with Harvey Norman. Thanks in advance.

I've been breakup myself, Canterbury region with a Panasonic and sometimes a Samsung
I just twist the aerial plug and it causes a re-sync and solves the problem temporally.

Maybe sunspots, UAP saw one of those over Oxford last Nov or it is swamp gas.

I doubt it's the TV.


You've most likely got a reception issue - get a professional aerial tech out.
