I am using DVBLink and a HDHomeRun Connect.

I have installed the DVBLink plugins for each tuner into the epg folders.

I have saved two individual Collection Parameters (EPG_Collector_1   and  _2) into both epg folders e.g.

C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\dvblogiccppplugin.epg
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\eitscanner.epg
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\atscscanner.epg
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\EPG_Collector_1.ini
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\EPG_Collector_1.ini.bak
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\dvblogiccppplugin.channels
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\eitscanner.channels
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\EPG Collector Gateway.cfg
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\DVBLogicCPPPlugin.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\eitscanner.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\atscscanner.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\epg\eitscanner_config.xm_

Running EPG Collector 4.3 FP9 as Administrator

I am getting Exit Code 5 when I run Collect EPG Data.

SJB:

Unfortunately, I don't know how change correctly, even if I am in the right place. I am the only User and an Administrator.

The computer is a NUC, so there are Administrator (NUC\Administrators) and Users (NUC\Users) [I have changed NUC/Users. First one] plus others e.g. TrustedInstaller.

What I don't understand is that the EPG Collector was able to update the DVBLogic Plugin Module, because it is in my post, but the Collect EPG Data option cannot.

The plugin module and the output file go to different directories.

Try outputting the XML file somewhere else that you know you can write to eg a Temp directory.

Thanks. I have misunderstood the Guide as I was trying to write 2 separate files to the 2 DVBLink epg folders.

Following on from my last post.

So, I choose a folder somewhere else.

Do I need to create a file (.ini) per tuner or just one file covering both tuners?

Tell me if I need to start from scratch.

I don't recognise 170.0.0.1:8089

You create one ini file for each frequency you want to collect from.

I can't tell exactly what it is you are trying to do with the data you collect.

Do you want to import it to WMC or DVBViewer?

My Frequency is 538MHz, Auckland - Waiatarua.

So you are using DVBLink with DVBViewer - is that correct?

I assume with that setup you either import into DVBViewer or the Recording Service. If it's the Recording Service then you may need to enter the correct IP address on the output tab. The 127.0.0.1:8089 is the default value and may not match the one you are using.

If you enable DVBViewer output but not the Recording Service import then EPG Collector uses a DVBViewer API to import the data into directly into the DVBViewer database.
