I manually installed it a few weeks ago.  Still have to say the sony tv's are slow as hell sometimes.  Sony did not put enough ram/cpu in it.  I can sit there and press a button, see the little white light flash (saying it got the command) and then having to wait a few seconds for it to show menus etc.

Also need to reboot the TV 3 or 4 times a week

What model TV is that? My 8500C had an update yesterday but that was a 6.01 continuation not 7.0.

I manually updated my 49X7000D a couple of weeks ago.

Was hoping it would fix the start up problem but not so. Why wouldn't a major update fix this?

Most of the time it wakes from sleep mode but some times it needs multiple power-on button pushes resulting in a reboot.
