Just got a logitech Harmony 525 Universal remote works on everything in the house except the Sky UHF anyone had any luck with this? I assume the Make is Videocrypt as this is on the bottom of the Decoder but remote wont read the IR signal from the existing sky remote.

The sky UHF boxes use a different protocol to most other remotes:

In short - it's not impossible, but is much more difficult to learn than other remotes.

You could call Sky and get it changed out to a Pace STB.  They work fine with the Harmony 525

To keep it short, new remotes use IR light which is modulated (turned on and off) at around 40kHz, and the receiver measures the duration of the bursts and the gaps between bursts.  In contrast, the sky UHF remote only uses single light pulses, and uses the timing between each pulse.  Learning remotes expect to see a continuous burst at 40kHz, so ignore the single light pulse from the sky remote, making it difficult to learn.   So no joy!
Thanks for the advice
