Hi folks,

A colleague has just bought one of those units that takes a 3.5" HDD and plays various media files. The specs says it takes IDE 133 HDD up to 500GB.

Our question is, can SATA, SATA2 or UATA drives work in this device?

Cheers,
D.

NO
IDE is IDE not SATA

Look for PATA devices http://www.pricespy.co.nz/cat_3.html#g128
