gbpvr making 0 byte .ts files

It says its recording in the status thing. And live tv works (sort of, still having codec issues)
But recording isnt a happening thing at all, it makes 2 ts files in a direcotry of the shows name, they are 0 bytes.
Any pointers on what to look for?

that generally means there is no signal (data stream) to record. It will try a couple of times then give up.

Sorted it, it seems I had stuffed up on the epg channel mapping...
Now, what will play the .ts files with sound? Media player classic doesnt want to.
