Over the years I have gone through quite a few pairs of Sennheiser on ear headphones, with the most common reason of moving onto a new pair was due to issues with the plug (general wear and tear)

I've been looking at getting a pair of Wireless/Bluetooth headphones as my next replacement, but am having trouble finding something small/light/on ear

For reference I am currently using Sennheiser HD 219 and also have a pair of HD 239s waiting

Can anyone suggest anything similar to these Sennheisers, but around the $200 mark - anything Wireless by Sennheiser is too expensive for my budget

I researched a lot of bluetooth/wireless headphones under the $200 mark and tried a few out as well when wanting to make the switch to wireless.

I ended up with these

I've used them for the last year or so and love them.  My wife was using them as well so ended up getting her a pair and my brother also ended up getting pair when he tried mine out and loves them too.

Great sound quality, light on the head and robust.  Obviously everyones ears are different as well as the type of music you listen to etc so go down to JB Hifi or PBtech and see if you can try a few pairs out to listen to but I could not recommend the Jabra Move headphones enough.  Best bluetooth headphones for that price point and the sound quality is on par if not better than more expensive ones IMO.

I get replacement Sennheiser cables off aliexpress. So long as they are detachable ones like the momentums then its just a 2.5mm plug at the headphone end on a little twist lock thingie to hold it in.

The Jabra Move had made my "investigate further" list after seeing in store; good to hear that it maybe potentially an option.

No stores in Dunedin had any trial stock - I am concerned that they may "pinch" my head rather than just sitting there.

richms - my Sennheiser's are on the cheap side, no detachable cables for me

Haven't had any issue with it "pinching my head" or hair.  No complaints from the wife as well.  We both have hair lol.

I've been looking at the Plantronics Backbeat 505 as well as the Sense on ear wireless/bluetooth headphones as well.

The Backbeat 505 are $140 RRP while the Sense are over budget at $299 but i've seen a few places with them for under $200 (my only issue is the brown colour that comes with the black option)
