I'm thinking this is they annoying clone monitor video bug. I thought it only happened with directshow players.

I can't remember how to fix it, but can you set it to only display on the TV and not on the laptop?

Could never get 'clone monitor' to work with my laptop, under nvidia settings there's a few options for dual display properties (also under ati, what graphics card??). I had to fiddle with the settings to get it to display.
