Hi,

This may be better directed to a pure PC oriented forum, but I was recently playing around with my HTPC resolution to try to achieve 1:1 pixel mapping.  After changing the desktop resolution, I now experience a funny flickering and delay when switching between Vista Media Centre and the desktop.  Furthermore screensavers no longer function (I've always had the photo slide show screensaver enabled, but the screen just goes blank now when the screensaver is activated).

What have I done wrong?

could be a number of things but i'd start with your desktop resolution and refresh rate settings.

I've got a Sony Bravia LCD TV which is native at 1366x768.  What resolution and refresh rate should I be using?

I got it functioning back to where it was by reducing the resolution to 1280 x 720 @ 50Hz, so I suspect it was the refresh rate causing the issue.

But why can't I select 1360 x 768 @ 50Hz or 60Hz?  The only settings at this resolution were 25, 29, and 30Hz.

I might start a new thread asking this question.
