My Panasonic Blu-ray player (DMR-PWT530) HDD recorder just completely died this morning, it worked yesterday and this morning it just won't open the tray and doesn't seem to operate correctly at all. Sort of boots up but then dies, I have left it powered on and I can hear it every now and then polling the dvd tray but noting is alive. It doesn't get used much but I miss it now. Anyone come across this before?

Nope - how old is it? Mine is many years old now, so I think I would either burn it, or take it to Teletech (panasonic repairers) if I didn't want a good excuse to buy a new one...good units though IMO :)

I brought it 2013 but hardly used it. I am a little bit surprised that it packed up the way it did considering Panasonic is a reputable company. I have taken it in for a CGA repair see what happens
