Legally in New Zealand. SImple Answer No.

I think I remember tvnzondemand.co.nz will have stuff like this in the future.. (or I may be wrong)

Apple allows you to have a UK iTunes account, if you have a UK credit card to pay for stuff. iTunes does not block download based on geographical location. I assume the rights holders are aware of this and don't mind. You can buy Lost (seasons 1 to 4) there if you could somehow get a UK account. They are up to s4 e14.
