I have an older type Bose Wave that isnt Bluetooth/wifi enabled. I want to be able to stream my music to it via my iphone cheaper than purchasing the Bose addon which is well over $100. There seems to be plenty of cheaper options available, can anyone recommend me one?

Yeah I'd choose a chromecast audio over a bluetooth device, just because my phone moves out of the 10 m range quite often.

Yeah I have two. One on my main stereo Which run six speakers in 3 rooms and a set of external speakers on its own amp, and another chromecast In the garage with some external pc speakers.

You can tell both of them to play the same stream.

The only place they fall down sonewhat is with local music from and iOS device.

What type of music though? Streaming? Or something local?

Not being a big iTunes user I’ve not looked it it can do that. I’d assume Apple won’t allow it.

This seems to be recommended? Allcast TV Pro: Cast anything by SPM Studios

If it’s music in a nas the Plex app with cast that. And there are other options. It’s the music bought and stored on an iPhone that might need another app.

An old(er) ATV 2 or 3 would do this pretty well too? They are now pretty cheap, and support optical output too 👍
