I am about to build an HTPC with an HVR2200 and will be running sky into it as well. Is this something I should be concerned about?

OP, have you tried using the s-video input on the HVR2200 as well as the aerial input?

it should work with WinTV, if not you've probably got the wrong input selected.

It should work withwintv however wintv isnt 64 bit compatible yet. i have eventually got it running thru the svideo, however also note that you will need a medi centre remote for this to work.

Win TV works perfectly fine on my Vista Home Premium 64bit computer. Also note i could never get sky to work with normal aerial cable until i upgraded it to all RG6 then it worked fine. The crappy RG59 cable made the picture on the pc constantly blue screen and drop out.
