I have my Macbook which is 2.4GHz model with 2 GB RAM - Will I be able to get any of these Hauppauge USB products and watch good TV ?

Although you probably already know this, I will include it for completeness, importing a USB tuner stick designed for the US market, (ATSC/NTSC) will *not* work in NZ for either standard or Freeview.You need a Euro PAL version.

That said, a Haupaugge 900 stick (also sold as an eyetv hybrid for the Mac) will work. You just need to rustle up the software to run under Vista, ( BTW: you could run eyetv just fine under Leopard, but each to their own.
