So I want to stop having to buy my movies on discs so I did a quick google and found this site.

http://www.zml.com/

I can sign up etc under New Zealand etc so it doesn't seem to be country specific so all good so far. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this site before, and if so was it good/bad etc.

I just don't want to put money down on it and find myself screwed.

Reviews have it as being usable but I’d tend to think it won’t last long depending on how much they’re paying the RIAA or the movie studios. They're effectively just downloading illegal rips off torrents and then onselling them to the masses for a profit... can you see a problem in that...? ;)

I’d stay away personally as I just feel a little dodgy giving Russians money for ripped DVD’s I can go and get from the store and rip to the hdd in higher quality myself.

Not to mention that having a physical disc is always nicer than a file on the HDD... What happens if the HDD dies? I'd tend to think that HDD's die more often than you'd lose a DVD. At least in my experience that's what the trend would be.
