Hi , i have just been gifted a Panasonic PT-D6000es projector. Its a big heavy unit.  I have a 100 inch screen. Im new to the projector scene. Has anyone used this projector for home use in a movie capacity ?

Your challenges are: It is a business projector, 1024*768, connection by older terminals which are not on modern DVD players and they are designed for PC connection.

Some AV amps still output Svideo from a DVD/BD source, which may help getting signal to the projector.

You can get a modest image by today's standards, but try not to spend to much on conversions and connections to make it work as you can get a 2nd hand home theater type projector for arguably as much as you could spend getting it to work.
