Hey everyone! I've just bought a new 65in Bravia 65X9000F at the Noel Leeming annual clearance sale and now I want to get it mounted on my wall. Keen to get it as close as possible to the wall, so I've been looking at slim options, but there's so many I'm not really sure what to choose!

Any ideas on best brand/bracket type? The TV has some ports accessible on the left side which should be easy enough to access while mounted, but the others are on the back so I'm going to get the electrician to make a cavity in the wall to put things like the Apple TV in.

Thanks!

Sanus make the best quality mounts without going super expensive...

There's a lot of cheap brackets that may be easy to work with, or a total PITA.

Roll your dice :-)

Thanks, I've had a look at Sanus but can't seem to find one particularly slim. Our electrician recommended this one which is really slim: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MOABRA0055/BRATECK-LCD-PLB41E-37-63-Fixed-Wall-Bracket-Max-Lo

Is Brateck a reasonable one?

Can recommend the Brateck slim brackets. Does a great job holding my Sony A1 up

this one is the only one I buy, I've bought about 10 of them over the years for myself/family.

Its very similar, very easy to hang on wall (two lag bolts), close to wall but not too close to the wall that you cant get plugs into them (had that issue with a super slim one, sure it was close the wall, but i could use it...).

its very cheap at $20 + shipping.  Every TV in my house are mounted with this wall bracket, or the 32" version for the kids tvs.

My weekend plan is to take down my 46 inch Sony from 2009 and put up the 60 a1.

Specs say both weight 30kg so hopefully can use existing brackets But have to get old bracket off back of old TV to see if fits the a1. Lost the installation notes years ago.
