I need to remove the region restrictions on a Panasonic DVR for someone. The preferred device  is a DMR-EH 67 DVR. An alternative is a DMP-BD83 DVD player. Does anyone have the codes for either of these? Please, no suggestions about alternatives. I am aware of those but it needs to be one of these devices if possible.

You can take the units to a Panasonic service agent and they do it for free. I don't think there is an actual unlock code as such - they do it with a remote control with a series of commands. I have done it in the past with an old Palm device. If you were in Auckland I could probably do it for you.
