On our Panasonic TC-P60ST60 I had a msg come up stating on 23 Oct the native youtube app will no longer work

We used this a lot from our Android mobiles

I guess we'll have to get a Chromecast2...

Just checked my VT60 and there's no message... fingers crossed that it keeps rolling a little longer.

See if there is a software update for the TV available. Its the sort of thing that can easily get turned off because it annoys you and then forgotten about. Im not sure what youtube API is going away this time to make it end around now tho.

Maybe the VT60 has a more capable processor?

What version software your VT60 have (see below)

This is one reason I don't recommend friends buy "Smart" TV's for the built in apps, but to use a 3rd party option such as a NUC....

For the ST50 users, It's been fickle for the last year or so.

Live streams more or less don't work (I've tried multiple rocket launch streams). And if you do a share to device its hit and miss if the video plays.

Chances are it's the HTML updates.

I'm just waiting for netflix now :/

Interesting will have to check mine when I get home (though we very rarely use it - xbox one is just a lot easier and faster)

(completely OT but since there are a few ST60 owners here anyone had an issue with the black frame detaching from TV?  Any suggestions for glue to re-attach?  I've already re-glued mine once but it's come adrift again)

We found of recent casting to the youtube app on our ST60 was fickle too, even when not casting it became fickle and would jump from the app back to TV

Youtube on ST60 demise aside the same occurred with the Quickflix app we had an announcement sometime back then it disappeared

Netflix app is still solid

Does anyone know how many fps the ST60 does i.e. if it can do 60 fps ?

If not there is no point in getting the Chromecast2 2018 model which offers 60 fps
