Well I had thought that I was finally getting close to the perfect TV (for me anyway).
The arrival of the new Sony's with built in HD digital tuner meant that I only had to wait for LED back-lights as in the new Samsung's overseas and I would be ready to splash out on a new TV.
The reviews are glowing with excellent contrast and vivid accurate colours making current LCD panels most definitely old technology. But alas my perfect TV may not have quite arrived. The great improvement with off-axis viewing of current late model LCD TV's seems to have been lost with the latest Samsung. I can only hope that we see next generation LED back-light TV's with improved viewing angles when they finally arrive here.

Unfortunately at that price the eagle can keep on flying!!! Did I forget price in my perfect TV! But still it shows they could be just around the corner, if that viewing angle can be believed?
