Hi!

is there any way to deactivate the time shifting feature?

- it sometimes generates errors like "No available card found, unable to start timeshifting" (it happened only 2-3 times in two months, I have to admit, is not a biggie)

- the hard drive works really hard all the time, basically recording continuously. I have a 3-year old Seagate Barracuda 80Gb 7200 IDE HDD and is not a very quiet one. This feature being activated does not improve the noise level at all. I am after a better/bigger HDD, but this one will still be in use as it has the OS on it... I really do not want to re-install everything now when it is working (I would say) quite well. If it cannot be deactivated I will have to move the default folder onto the new (and hopefuly quieter?) HDD.

I know you can set the folder for timeshifting, but I could not see an option to have it turned off...
