We plan on using the htpc to replace our dvd recorder (never ever buy a philips one) which is pretty much primarily used for sky. We also want to buy a harmony 525 remote to replace all the remotes we have. Plan on using mediaportal. Case has to fit in a quite small shelf space (440mmLx440mmWx130mmH). But i might be able to move things around and make it 200mmH, not sure.
First up is nova t vs hvr2200
Nova T 500 HD:
Dual Tuner DVB-T
No analogue
No RCA/svideo inputs
Remote + IR reciever

HVR2200:
Dual Tuner DVB-T
Dual Tuner Analogue
Svideo and RCA inputs
No remote or IR receiver

The HVR2200 seems perfect except there is no remote or ir receiver. And i cant find any shop which will sell a compatible consumer IR reciever either to go with the harmony 525. Don't want to spend $200+ on a case with IR that doesn't even have a PSU.

Specs:
CPU: AMD 5200+ 2.6ghz
RAM: Crucial 2x1gb
Motherboard: XFX MI-A78S-8209 (onboard 8200)
Graphics: 8400GS (to hybrid SLI with onboard)
Case: Don't know.
DVD Drive: Whatever matches the case
Hard Drive: 160gb + 250gb seagate drives, 160 for the timeshift. Both are used, 160 is older and was C:/ on our main computer. Its probably going to fail after a year or two of timeshift use, but oh well.

Ideas?

edit: a variation of the hvr2200 appears to be the hvr2200 MC, which seems to have an IR input on the back? but no one stocks it in NZ? Dont think it comes with a remote though.

Right, i've figured i can move things around even more, and get 26cm of height for the shelving. This is closed in though with not a lot of ventillation, though there is 4cm above it where air can move around. Still 44cm wide though.
I'm thinking the Silverstone LC20, the LC20m would be perfect because it has an IR receiver, but its a fair bit more. Also apparently Imon remotes don't play well with mediaportal, do you think this imon receiver would pickup MCE commands from the harmony 525?
