After a MySkyHDi install and the usual mucking around with the reprogramming the Harmony 1000i remote I wonder if anyone has found the perfect "equivalent" device settings?

The STB is listed as a Pace tds850NNZ however the closest that Logitech finds is the tds650NNZ.  Although there were multiple issues on updating the remote I'm pretty sure it completed however..... no remote commands from the 1000i were recognised by the Pace box.  *sigh*

Short of manually working my way through the process does anyone have any suggestions of alternate STB models that work?

Don't know what the model of the old MySky 1 is, but it would appear that the codes are the same as the MySkyHDi according to this post.

I was about to get a harmony 1000i but your comments about its configuration make me pause....

If you are happy I might PM you with a few questions.

Mysky1 and Hdi remotes are interchangeable and are identical. As far as I can tell they use identical codes.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Thanks.   Any chance someone can confirm the MySky1 is a Pace tds650NNZ?  That being the case then I can trace back to the software not updating the remote.

Cheers

I have just had My Ski HDI installed an hour ago. The remotes are the same as My Sky, and are interchangable as I had My Sky put in the bedroom.

BUT I have a Logitech Harmony 880, and that will not work with HDI, but will work with orginal My Sky.

That is strange..

Tony

Gulfa, what was the device model number you found as I have had no luck with the reprogramming.

maybe it's simply a matter of teaching it all the buttons you use, still should only take about 30 mins.

I've got a 500, will have a play later on when mine gets installed.

I had issues with the that - the MySKY HDi model on the Harmony remote site (TDS850-NZ) doesn't work however the Foxtel model, the IQ2 (TDS850-NF) does.

We got two HDi boxes installed- one in a room with a Harmony 880 (which worked with the old MySky remote codes) however in the other room with a Harmony 550 the MySky 1 remote codes won't work with the HDi at all which is curious. In the end I redid the setup on both remotes and changed to the TDS850-NF and all is well.

My Harmony 880 was setup for the old Mysky.....and, it works perfectly OK on the new Mysky hdi.

It is no big deal to learn the codes anyway
