Hi
i own the Logitech PS3 Bluetooth keyboard, it didnt come with a doggle so i bought one of these http://pbtech.co.nz/index.php?item=ADPLAS0710

does anyone know how to get it working in bios, before windows launches

You can't use a Bluetooth keyboard before the drivers are loaded...

laser? do you mean infrared? Depends on the keyboard some might, Microsoft MCE won't.

I don't think this is true. When I built my HTPC, I used my Microsoft Wireless Media Desktop 7000 bluetooth keyboard right from the start. To get into the bios and install Vista. All I did was plug in the bluetooth dongle and away it went...

Are you sure your keyboard mouse both were bluetooth?. our keyboard could be infra and mouse could be bluetooth

If you have a matching dongle from the kb/mouse manufacture, then it should work in BIOS + Installs - mine does (Logitech MX5500).

This is because the Bluetooth connection is totally between the peripheral and the dongle, then the dongle presents itself to the PC as a USB HID. The PC in this scenario does not even require Bluetooth built in!

If you have no manufacturers matching dongle, (i.e. you rely on the PCs own Bluetooth, or a third party Bluetooth USB dongle), then you need an OS + drivers loaded before it will work.

...and remember, pants are mandatory.
