I was in Noel Leeming at Westfield Riccarton this afternoon and as I went past the LCD panels I saw Discovery HD being broadcasted. I was in a hurry so I didn't stop to ask.

Something off a recording or a direct broadcast?

Most likley Sky NZ rebroadcast of Discovery HD from Foxtel in Oz.  SD here only in the mean time..
