Am looking at getting a new Samsung TV. How can I livestream my Hikvison CCTV to it via wifi?!

Could you use a WiFi dongle on one of the USB ports and connect to that, or even something through one of the HDMI ports?

I conceded defeat and after some drilling and blasting (when management was not at home!) put in a Cat cable and a $149 HDMI Extender.
Brilliant picture.

You did the right thing. Will give the lowest latency for the live view.

For what it's worth, you could also just play the RTSP stream of the live view directly if the TV supports it.
