Hi.

I'm interested in the television/monitor listed above.

Does anyone have any experience/advice with the television above?

Things I am wondering:

What kind of inputs it has?
Does it have Composite
Does it have RCA
Does it have DVI and VGA

It is claimed as a TV with HDMI. Was wondering if anyone knows what capabilities it has as a TV and a monitor...

Also wondering, does it have a Remote, does it have an adjusting stand (ie raise or swivel the monitor),

and above all else...
The quality of the monitor as both a monitor, and as a television! I have been looking at it for a while for a nice sized (and priced) tv, but now have a real use for a larger monitor (writing a thesis on word) - so if anyone has any advice about monitors in general (cheap is better for me...) or particularly has anyone bought this monitor and have advice on it?

Cheers!!

Yep we got one to replace cheap CRT in the bedroom.

It has RCA/Component, VGA, SVIDEO, HDMI, 3.5mm audio (in), seperate RCA audio, headphone jack.  No DVI but that doesnt matter as it comes with a hdmi to dvi converter so therefore works with dvi :)

TV/LCD that price your never going to get a nice swivel stand, it has tilt adjustment thats it. Remote control is fine and yes it comes with batteries :)

The good:
Very good sounds, compared to previous tv the stereo aspects of movies etc.. really stand out.
Nice Menus, nice build quality especially for the price.
Teletext is a bonus.
Clarity of panel is fine.

The Bad:
Very slow changing channels makes channel surfing a real pain.

Overall very good tv, I use it hooked up to the laptop. I like the OSD Menus, tuning, and ability to easily change screen reslution from 4:3, movie mode etc.. Dont underestimate how annoying the slow channel changing is I've got used to it now however my advise is go look at a demo.  ETC have a demo model hooked up at their mt eden store.
