Have a Samsung 65 QLED TV Model QA65Q7FNA in the lounge and it has started turning on by its self! Have an older Samsung in the bedroom and this somehow must be causing it.
Any suggestions?!
Many thanks

Does your other ssing tv remote have line of sight for the IR command?

Do you have wake on LAN enabled in settings?

Can you turn that off for a few days to see if that fixes it?

Could it be a child using wake on lan/ cast from an Android /iso then cancelling the request.

Do you have a dvr doing recordings with hdmi cec on?

Potentially something plugged into it turning it on.

I had a similar issue it was my Nvidia Shield that was turning it on. Was driving me nuts. Changed HDMI ports and hasn't been an issue since.

The only other time this has happened is post a power cut.
I have the exact same TV as you.

Any LED lights in the room?

I've seen them randomly turn on electronics for 5-6000 hours of their lifespan...

It's possessed. I recommend an immediate exorcism.

You sure the remote for the bedroom TV isn't also turning on the other one? What's the physical distance between the two?

Mine does that too.

It is connected to the network despite being in standby.

Sometimes I watch youtube on my phone and accidentally touch something and the TV turns on.

Think it was the Apple TV connected to the old Samsung that was the problem!
Turned off the remote function.
