I cant afford the higher end 4k projectors, so looking at the ones around $2000 that use some chip magic to make the image 4 k(not true 4k is it?)

The options I am looking at are:

BenQ W1700 Home Cinema DLP Projector with 4K UHD,HDR,Rec.709 W1700 True 8.3 Million Pixel Perfection 2200 ANSI Lumens10000:1

BenQ TK800 4K UHD (3840 X 2160) Home Entertainment Projector , 3000 ANSI LUMENS

Viewsonic PX747-4K 3840x2160 3500lm 16:9 Projector

Anyone have any views on which of the above is the best to go for, or suggest any other options.   Cheers

I would assume BenQ would have better backup than Viewsonic... however I do believe the BenQ distribution has flipped around many, many times in NZ over the last few years.

Check spare lamp prices + who can service the units before plonking down your hard earned cash.
