are there any legal 4k movies on youtube? or anybody know where i can get legal 4k sample clips from

There’s tons of 4K content on YouTube. Just be aware if you’re trying to watch on a Mac don’t use Safari, and don’t use an Apple TV. Apple doesn’t support the VP9 codec that YouTube uses so 4K content will only play 1080p at most on those platforms. Chrome on Mac works with 4K though.

If your TV does 4K it probably does HDR as well?

 

Check out some Youtube HDR samples as well.

 

Also Netflix and Amazon have 4K if you want to take up the free months sub to watch a couple of movies/shows
